CAPTURING MOMENTS THAT MATTER
I love photographing very natural moments as they happen capturing real, raw emotion. Anticipation, anxiety, joy, sadness, love, relief are all part of a wedding day. Photos that tell a story with feeling are priceless and tend to grow on you as time goes by. Documentary wedding photography will give you beautiful photographs with honest memories to cherish forever. My couples love life and each other and don’t mind being perfectly, imperfect. They are simply real people and just love to celebrate who they genuinely are.
I am passionate about delivering the very best service from our first meeting, capturing your wedding and delivering your images through to aftercare such as ordering albums, prints and wall art.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I dont just cover one or two local venues. I like variety and tend to travel all over the UK.
Documentary wedding photography doesn’t mean that I won’t be doing your group photos. It’s not often that family, friends, children, work colleagues and acquaintances come together, all at once, except for these magical celebrations. So, these photos are important especially for your parents and grandparents. When you ask people to stand close and hug all sorts of uncomfortable smiles and expressions happen. The niece sticking her tongue out, groomsmen with uncomfortable smiles standing squashed together and giggling bridesmaids. These are great memories to have.
I hope my photos will remind you of how special your day was, in years to come and bring back all the wonderful feelings of time spent with family and friends.
Every wedding is different and I would like your photographs to be an honest memory of your special day. Just the way you imagined it!

I am a Hertfordshire wedding photographer living near St Albans with my husband Leon, two wonderful kids and 5 pets. Leon is also my trusted second photographer who has been by my side for 25 years.
All my work is captured with professional Sony Mirrorless and Canon Cameras.
I trained as a professional wedding photographer for a year with The Trained Eye Academy based in Amersham. Mike Garrard, Damion Mower, Benjamin Toms and Faye Cornhill were my tutors and mentors. All are amazing photographers and I cannot thank them enough for their advice and expert direction.
I am passionate about engaging with my clients, understanding their needs and capturing their life in a truly unique and individual way. We all see the world differently which is why people fascinate me and why I find weddings in particular, so special and exciting.
Photo taken by my son, age 13 on 22 August 2020.
