Sarratt Village Wedding | Hertfordshire

Nel is a Sarratt Village Wedding Photographer. Victoria and Craig where so lucky to have an amazing wedding at the village hall, in September 2019. Weddings before COVID! They where so lucky and recently celebrated their first anniversary. In addition their stunning 60 page Henley leather album arrived as part of their celebration. What an amazing way to relive your wedding day and all the wonderful moments and emotions. I love designing albums for my clients and just believe that images look so much better in print.

Victoria initially got in touch with me by e-mail. We decided to meet up for a casual chat about their day at the Cricketers pub in Sarratt Village. They told me all about how they first met waiting for a Taxi after a late night out in Harpenden. Well, they where clearly meant to be together.

Getting Ready

Victoria’s morning began at her mother’s pretty countryside cottage near Sarratt Village. It was a glorious sunny day with beautiful natural light beaming into the bedroom. A wedding photographer’s dream. When I arrived Victoria looked absolutely amazing in her Sottero and Midgley dress and pink velvet, diamanté  Jimmy Choo shoes.

Before heading of to church I took some lovely group photos of Victoria and her family. She then stepped onto a real old-worldly bus continuing on her wedding day journey.

Victoria and Craig tied the knot at All Saints Church in Croxley Green with special guest Bud, their beloved English Bull Terrier. He was dressed for the occasion wearing his smart blue bow-tie.

They had a beautiful ceremony lead by Marion, the vicar, who knows Victoria well. Bud, put his best paw forward and nearly fell asleep during it all.

The beautiful church garden was the perfect place to mingle with family and friends after their ceremony. The grand yew hedge posed as backdrop for all  their group photos. After a fun photo session we went on to the pretty village of Sarratt, Hertfordshire.

Most of their guest waited their turn to be taken to Sarratt Village Hall on the gorgeous vintage wedding bus driven by Victoria’s step dad. They definitely turned some heads on the way.

Reception and Party

They were greeted by all their guests seated in the beautifully decorated hall. The ceiling was filled with an assortment of colouful pink, blue and green round paper laterns.

Their reception was fun filled with a magician to entertain all the guests as well as a very talented face painting lady who added that extra bit of sparkle to everyone.

After short speeches and enjoying all the delicious canapes  the evening came to life with Victoria and Craig opening the dancefloor with  Frankie Valli’s- I cant take my eyes of you.

I had a fantastic time doing this wedding and will always have fond memories of Victoria and Craig’s day!
